Centralia is one of our favorite haunts! It is full of history drenched in an intricate amount of mystery. Centralia was once a beautiful small coal mining town until a mine fire started under ground. The fire started producing toxic fumes and causing sink holes and over all just making living in the town dangerous for the residents. The residents were paid by the government to relocate leaving Centralia pretty much a ghost town with only two of its former residents remaining there. Now Centralia seems to be more of a famous go to tourist attraction for people looking for a good haunt or just someone looking to soak up some history or nature. From the mountainous roads being taken back by nature to the famous abandoned highway know as Graffiti Highway. You never run out of places to explore or see in this now famous ghost town! Below are some of my favorite links on information about Centralia! To Date we haven't caught any credible evidence at this particular location but there is so much to explore. We have experienced some spooky sounds and being chased by something on what is known as Graffiti Highway (because of the mass amount of spray painted artwork that covers the road).
